Lamar Jackson is back on the field and reportedly expected to play Tuesday night against the Dallas Cowboys.

Ravens’ QB Cheap Lamar Jackson Jersey is expected to come off Reserve/COVID19 list and start Tuesday vs. the Dallas Cowboys, per sources.

— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) December 6, 2020
The Ravens’ MVP quarterback and three teammates – fullback Cheap Patrick Ricard Jersey, long snapper Cheap Morgan Cox Jersey and defensive tackle Cheap Justin Madubuike Jersey – were activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list Sunday morning.

Jackson is participating in Sunday’s full team practice and will have a walk-through Monday. Offensive Coordinator Greg Roman said Jackson has been “fully engaged” in the team’s virtual meetings this week and watches film of practices.

“So, he’s really lockstep, each and every step through,” Roman said. “The only thing he can’t do is, obviously, be here at the facility and actually take part in it. But, mentally, he’s right on it.”

Jackson was forced to sit out Wednesday’s game in Pittsburgh, the first game he has sat out in his three-year career. According to teammates, missing the huge rivalry game weighed heavy on the ultra-competitive quarterback. The Ravens have lost three straight and probably need to win at least four of their final five games to make the playoffs.

Head Coach John Harbaugh said this week that whether players coming off the list could play or not would be a “medical decision” made by the team staff. Offensive tackle Cheap Orlando Brown Jr. Jersey said Jackson was “feeling well.”

The return of Ricard is huge for the offense as well, especially as Baltimore looks to get its ground game in gear over the final December stretch and make a playoff run. Ricard often spearheads Baltimore’s rushing blocking and is a physical tone-setter.

Madubuike’s activation would help provide more depth along a defensive line that is getting more pieces back this week. Defensive tackle Cheap Brandon Williams Jersey and defensive end Cheap Calais Campbell Jersey have returned to the field to pair with Cheap Derek Wolfe Jersey. Madubuike would help pick up snaps behind the veteran starters.

Long snapper Nick Moore filled in for Cox without a hitch, but the Ravens’ “Wolfpack” always wants the consistency that Cox helps deliver.

Cheap Cleveland Browns Jerseys: Hot Browns Await Matchup With Ravens

Riding a four-game winning streak, the Browns (9-3) appear headed for their first playoff birth since 2002.

They have different players stepping up on both offense and defense, and on Sunday it was Cheap Baker Mayfield Jersey. During Cleveland’s 41-35 victory over the Tennessee Titans, Mayfield became the first NFL quarterback this season to throw four touchdown passes in the first half. After throwing a career-high 21 interceptions last season, Mayfield hasn’t thrown a pick in five straight games and has tossed just seven this season.

The ONLY NFL QB on an active roster who has not thrown an INT over his last 150 attempts…

Even some of Mayfield’s most ardent critics are being won over. ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith was impressed watching Mayfield sling it Sunday after criticizing him earlier in the week.

Okay y’all. @bakermayfield is balling right now. 3 TD’s and 186 yards passing and it’s still the first half. He’s doing it right now. Gotta give credit where it’s due

The Browns will sit back and watch two AFC North rivals over the next two days, as the Cheap Pittsburgh Steelers Jerseys face Washington Monday, and the Ravens host the Dallas Cowboys Tuesday night.

Beating a quality team like Tennessee (8-4) on the road was a statement win for the Browns, who were defeated handily by both the Ravens and Steelers earlier this season. Now the Browns have extra time to prepare for next week’s rematch in Cleveland against the Ravens, who blew out Cleveland, 38-6, in the season opener. The Browns haven’t forgotten that, but Mayfield said this year’s team maintains its focus regardless of the opponent, which has led to success.

“We’re going to be happy about this win until we wake up tomorrow, and then we’re on to the next,” Mayfield said via ClevelandBrowns.com. “This isn’t the end of the season. This isn’t what we set out to do. We didn’t set out to be 9-3. There’s a lot of ball left. The job’s not finished.

“We’re definitely trending in the right direction. I’d be lying if I said otherwise.”

Pittsburgh Steelers: Sack-Happy Steelers Eye NFL Record

Heading into Monday night’s game against Washington, the Steelers had recorded at least one sack in 68 straight games, one short of the NFL record of 69 straight set by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 1999-2003.

The first sack in the Steelers’ current streak came in 2016, when James Harrison sacked former Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco. Pittsburgh leads the league with 41 sacks led by Cheap T.J. Watt Jersey (11 sacks), who is tied with Aaron Donald of the Los Angeles Rams for the league lead.

Watt is downplaying the importance of the streak, but the Steelers’ potent pass rush is among the reasons for their 11-0 record.

“We’ve never really talked in depth about any of that stuff,” Watt said via ESPN.com. “All that matter is getting the win.”

However, the Steelers wouldn’t mind seeing this year’s defense receive even more accolades. They have allowed the fewest points in the league (17.1 per game), have the second-highest blitz rate in the league (41.6%) and getting pressure on the quarterback by any means necessary is one of their beliefs.

“We do rush four, but occasionally we will blitz,” Defensive Coordinator Keith Butler said. “We’re not the Blitz-burgh we used to be, but we certainly are not far from it. We will do whatever we have to do to make sure we maintain the pressure on the quarterback.”

Cheap Cincinnati Bengals Jerseys: Another Loss Leads to Frustration and Ejections

The Bengals (2-9-1) have lost four straight since their bye, and their frustration is showing as their season heads in the wrong direction. Two separate skirmishes during Sunday’s 19-7 loss to the Miami Dolphins led to the ejection of Bengals wide receiver Cheap Tyler Boyd Jersey and safety Cheap Shawn Williams Jersey.

The second melee was triggered when Cheap Mike Thomas Jersey of the Bengals plowed into Jakeem Grant of the Dolphins as he was defenseless while waiting to field a punt. It was the second time Grant had been hit too early while trying to field a punt, and both benches ran onto the field, with many Dolphins players and Head Coach Brian Flores incensed.

— josh houtz (@houtz) December 6, 2020
Bengals Head Coach Zac Taylor said that Thomas was not being a cheap-shot artist, but admitted that Thomas’ second hit on Grant was too early.

“He got there a little too soon,” Taylor said via CincinnatiBengals.com. “That’s obvious. But again that returner is a heck of a returner. He does not fair catch the ball. So you’ve got to put pressure on him. Of course we don’t want to do it before the catch point. We want to play within the rules. But our guys were playing hard. It was unfortunate. There’s no ill will there by Mike Thomas; I can promise you that.”

Without quarterback Cheap Joe Burrow Jersey, who had knee surgery last week, the Bengals continued to struggle offensively and were held under 20 points for the fourth consecutive game. They will host the Cowboys in Week 14.

The Steelers’ dreams of an undefeated regular season are history and they’ll have to wait at least until this Sunday to clinch a return trip to the postseason following Washington’s 23-17 victory this evening at Heinz Field.

Washington kicker Dustin Hopkins’ 45-yard field goal with 2:04 left in regulation provided Washington’s first lead. The visitors got into position to break a 17-17 tie on a 29-yard completion from quarterback Alex Smith to wide receiver Cam Sims on third-and-4 from the Washington 44-yard line.

Steelers quarterback Cheap Ben Roethlisberger Jersey was intercepted by former Steelers linebacker Jon Bostic on a pass that was tipped by defensive end Montez Sweat on first-and-10 from the Steelers’ 25 with 2:04 left in the fourth quarter.

Hopkins added another 45-yard field goal with 17 seconds left in the fourth quarter.

The Steelers’ last-gasp possession started from their 25 and ended with a completion to tight end Cheap Eric Ebron Jersey that ran out the clock.

“We’re not frustrated,” cornerback Cheap Mike Hilton Jersey said. “We just know we gotta play better.”

Added quarterback Ben Roethlisberger: “We just need to make plays. I need to deliver us into plays that are best suited for situations. It starts with me. I need to be better.”

The 5 p.m. kickoff was the second game in a stretch that includes three in 12 days for the Steelers, who next play this Sunday night in Buffalo.

The Steelers fell to 11-1.

Washington improved to 5-7.

“We just gotta make routine lays routinely,” head coach Mike Tomlin said. “We’re not making them routinely enough right now.”

The Steelers finished with slight edges in total net yards (326-318) and third down conversions (6-for-15, 40 percent to Washington’s 4-for-17, 24 percent).

Washington had a slight edge in time of possession (30:26-29:34) after having the ball for just 12:49 in the first two quarters.

Washington moved 53 yards in eight plays midway through the fourth and tied the game at 17-17 on a 15-yard touchdown pass from Smith to tight end Logan Thomas and Hopkins’ extra point.

Fill-in kicker Matthew Wright’s 37-yard field goal on the first play of the fourth put the Steelers ahead by seven at 17-10. Wright was activated from the practice squad prior to kickoff to replace Cheap Chris Boswell Jersey (hip).

Washington closed to within 14-10 after receiving the kickoff to open the second half. The visitors used 14 plays to drive 82 yards in 6:44 on a march that was capped by a 1-yard touchdown burst by running back Peyton Barber. Hopkins’ extra point drew Washington within four. Washington was able to extend the drive on a 31-yard flanker screen from Smith to Sims on third-and-14 from the Washington 14-yard line. Smith also hooked up with Thomas for a 30-yard gain to the Steelers’ 1.

The Steelers tied an NFL record when Robert Spillane sacked Alex Smith, for a loss of nine yards, in the first quarter of Monday’s game against the Washington Football Team.

With that sack, the Steelers now have a streak of 69 games with at least one sack, tying the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who set the NFL record over a five-season span (1999-2003). If the Steelers record a sack next week against the Buffalo Bills, they will set a new NFL record at 70 consecutive games with a sack.

The Steelers streak began in Week 8 of the 2016 season against the Cheap Baltimore Ravens Jerseys. James Harrison sacked Ravens’ quarterback Joe Flacco for the first of three sacks that day. Ryan Shazier and Anthony Chickillo also each added a sack.

During the span from 2016-2020, T.J. Watt has the most sacks with 46.5, followed by Cheap Bud Dupree Jersey (35.5), Cheap Cameron Heyward Jersey (32), and Cheap Stephon Tuitt Jersey (24). It wasn’t just them, though. The team combined for a total of 236 sacks during the streak, with 29 players contributing.

The Steelers defensive scheme sets the players up to be able to put up big sack numbers, but Coach Mike Tomlin said it starts with the players.

“Quality players. It starts there,” said Tomlin. “Guys like Bud (Dupree) and T.J. (Watt) and Cam (Heyward) and (Stephon) Tuitt. They provide a wave that we ride. They are good individually. They are good collectively. They are consistent in terms of their performances.”

Tomlin understands that as he was on the Tampa staff during three seasons of the streak (2001-03) as the defensive backs coach, so he definitely knows what it takes to have a streak like that.

“I have been a part of several groups like that,” said Tomlin. “I was fortunate to be a part of that Tampa group that this group often gets compared to. The thing I think about when I think about the two groups are the quality individual rushers who rush well together collectively.

“We’ve got guys you can characterize as really good individual rushers, but they rush very well together. The understanding of the larger body and how they fit into it makes it happen for them and that is what provides consistency.”

Steelers sack streak tidbits:
– The Steelers lead the NFL in sacks during the span of their sack streak.
– The Steelers recorded four plus sacks in 31 games during the streak, including two games with eight sacks (Week 4, 2019 vs. Cincinnati and Week 11, 2016 vs. Cleveland). They have only had nine games with just one sack.
– The Steelers have the most sacks against the Cheap Cleveland Browns Jerseys during the streak (44), with the Cheap Cincinnati Bengals Jerseys (30), and the Baltimore Ravens (29) next in line. The most sacked quarterbacks have been Andy Dalton (18) and Joe Flacco (14).
– The Steelers get sacks when it matters most as 65 of them during the streak have come in the fourth quarter.
– Devin Bush was the youngest player to record a sack during the streak, doing so while he was 21 years and 74 days old, while James Harrison was the oldest at 39 years and 164 days.

The Steelers broke the ice early in the second quarter following an opening 15 minutes that saw the two teams combine for six first downs and punt a combined six times.

Roethlisberger capped a 14-play, 72-yard drive in 6:16 with a 3-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Cheap Diontae Johnson Jersey. Wright converted the extra point and the Steelers led, 7-0. Running back Cheap Benny Snell Jersey converted a third-and-1 with a 2-yard gain at the outset of the drive, and Roethlisberger hit Johnson for 17 yards on third-and-12, Ebron for 15 on third-and-6 and wide receiver Cheap Chase Claypool Jersey for 8 on third-and-7 on the way to the end zone.

The Steelers struck again late in the second on a 50-yard catch-and-run touchdown connection from Roethlisberger to wide receiver Cheap James Washington Jersey. The one-play drive concluded a sequence that saw Snell stopped on fourth-and-goal from the Washington 1 and the Steelers’ defense force a three-and-out from the Washington offense. Wide receiver Cheap Ray-Ray McCloud Jersey 17-yard punt return established possession for the Steelers at midfield.

Wright’s second successful extra point made it 14-0 with 3:54 left in the first half.

Washington got on the scoreboard on a 49-yard field goal from Hopkins with one second left before the break. Washington used six plays and drove 28 yards in 49 seconds to close to within 14-3.

Inside linebacker Cheap Robert Spillane Jersey sack of Smith in the first quarter extended the Steelers streak of registering at least one sack to an NFL record-tying 69 consecutive games. Tampa Bay established the mark from 1999-2003.

Smith was sacked three times overall, including outside linebacker Cheap T.J. Watt Jersey NFL-leading 12th of the season. Watt forced a fumble in the fourth quarter that was recovered by Washington.

The Steelers out-gained Washington 211-114 in the opening 30 minutes, held a 17:11-12:49 edge in time of possession and converted four of nine third downs (44.4 percent) to zero for Washington in eight attempts.

Washington lost rookie running back Antonio Gibson to a toe injury in the first quarter after he’d carried twice and gained 14 yards on the ground.

The Steelers lost Spillane (knee) and cornerback Cheap Joe Haden Jersey (evaluated for a concussion) in the second half.

As Bengals head coach Zac Taylor looked ahead to next Sunday’s game in Washington, he’s not sure if he’ll have running back Cheap Joe Mixon Jersey (foot) but he’s encouraged about the status of left tackle Cheap Jonah Williams Jersey (neck stinger) and defensive tackle Cheap Geno Atkins Jersey (personal reasons). He also said quarterback Cheap Joe Burrow Jersey (ankle) looks good to go into his 10th NFL start.

But if there’s one thing that is certain about the 2020 season it is the uncertainty spawned by the pandemic. Taylor had four assistant coaches missing from Sunday’s game in Pittsburgh because of Covid-related reasons and it’s unclear who’ll be out five days because of close contact and 10 days because of a positive test.

One thing for sure is that all meetings are virtual this week, which all coaches can attend, of course. But the three defensive assistants who were ruled out Sunday morning can’t be at practice until Friday at the earliest. It’s believed they rented separate cars and drove back to Cincinnati while the team flew back. It was announced on Friday that wide receivers coach Bob Bicknell couldn’t attend the game because of Covid reasons.

“We can’t have any in-person meetings anyway. It’s not all that different not being in the facility, they just can’t be at practice,” Taylor said Monday. “It’s important to have them at both (game and practice). Whether there are adjustments that need to be made during the game or communicate. Obviously, with practice they get more individual time where they get to focus on their guys at their position. We are not the only team to deal with that. We have a bunch of younger coaches too on that side of the ball that can step up and get an opportunity. It’s a great time to see them work as well.”

Strong safety Cheap Vonn Bell Jersey admitted in his Monday call, it’s just not the same.

“I said it months ago. We’re in a weird time. You never know how you can get the virus,” Bell said. “If there’s a close contact they track you with those tracers. You might be next to somebody for five minutes and they’ve got you as a close contact and you’re knocked out and it’s always a next man up mentality. It affects the whole group because we’re not getting that time together where we really break down how can we do this and get details in what we’re doing during the game because it’s all on Zoom. And you’re not getting enough reps sometimes.

“It’s crazy. You have to find a way. Nobody cares about that. I had an old coach say 90 percent of the world doesn’t care about your problems and 10 percent cares you’ve got them. We just have to figure out how to produce on Sunday and that’s the end of it. We just have to find a way.”

The Bengals did get one player back from the Covid list Monday in practice squad cornerback Brian Allen, who appeared to be a close contact.

O-LINE CONFIGUATION: Backup right tackle Cheap Fred Johnson Jersey wasn’t available Sunday after going on the Covid list about 10 days ago, so it looks like he’d be available for Washington if Cheap Bobby Hart Jersey(knee) can’t go. But the fact is, their replacement on Sunday, transplanted left guard Quitnon Spain, was terrific in his first NFL start at right tackle. So was Cheap Hakeem Adeniji Jersey, starting in place of Jonah Williams for the second straight week on the left side.

Taylor was pretty open about how he lines up this Sunday because he saw how it can change so quickly as late as Friday.

“It certainly has been that late. You don’t want it to go that late,” Taylor said. “You want to do it before you go practice on Wednesday so you can communicate to the guys and they can settle into their position, but that was late in the week we had to make some adjustments there. Hakeem and Quinton did a great job of handling it.”

Pro Football Focus agreed. Adeniji, who has yet to allow a sack, gave up his first QB hit to go with two hurries in a great effort against six-sack man Cheap Bud Dupree Jersey, a guy that also had 11 hits. Spain, making his 67th NFL start, made sure Cheap T.J. Watt Jersey didn’t go off. He did give up a sack, a hit and four pressures, but when you consider Watt and Dupree came in with 55 pressures and 13 sacks combined, well, that’s good enough to win. But Taylor is just waiting on health here and won’t say how they’ll line up next week.

“I thought overall those guys did a great job targeting and winning some one-on-ones and gave us a chance to be able to do the things we need to do to win the game,” Taylor said.

“We have to see where people are coming back. You get good plays from guys who are spot-starting there. Really if you look at thing in a nutshell and just watch each play those guys up front did a great job. We had some efficient runs. They really did a good job moving the line of scrimmage. They won a couple of downs against us. They do that, they’re a good defense. I thought pass protection really the only two hits in the first half were a third-and-12 sack where the play got extended a little longer than normal.”

And how about center Cheap Trey Hopkins Jersey taking turns on Stephen Tuitt and Cam Heyward and their combined eight sacks and 34 pressures? PFF had Hopkins allowing just two hurries.

PROTECTING JOE: Taylor has done a pretty good job hiding it, but he is none too pleased with the shots Burrow is taking. Particularly Dupree’s late shove into the Bengals sideline Sunday that ended up with Burrow rolling his plant ankle at the end of the half when he slammed into the bench after getting rid of the ball. After that throw, Burrow was six of 16 for 33 yards the rest of the way. Taylor says he thinks that wasn’t a factor. But he left no doubt he wanted a flag. Which could have made it 22-10 at the half.

“If there was a camera on me for the next eight minutes, you would have seen my reaction, going into halftime so that would have been very clear had someone been filming that,” said Taylor, who has talked about hoping the late hits on his quarterback are more monitored. “Probably falls into that category, and I’ll be very careful with my opinions.”

WIND-BLOWN: Taylor didn’t talk about the 20 mile-per-hour wind impacting Burrow’s passing, but he could have. In slightly less windy conditions two weeks ago at Paul Brown Stadium, Burrow carved the Titans. But special teams coordinator Darrin Simmons said it was quite a factor and this is a guy coaching his 23rd season of the NFL kicking game.

“Obviously the weather was a major factor,” Simmons said. “This is two games in a row for us that we’ve played in some bad, bad wind games. As windy as I can remember being. Pregame warmup was atrocious.”

But that wasn’t enough to let punt returner Cheap Alex Erickson Jersey off the hook for a fumble and some poor decisions to not catch the ball.

“I think he got a little bit unnerved, too, with the wind. It was a factor the whole game. It was a battle in pregame,” Simmons said. “Obviously when he fumbles the first one, then he gets spooked after that by misplaying another one. It’s like falling off a bike. When you fall off a bike you’re got to get right back on it.

“We can’t shy away from things. He’s got to trust in his ability to catch. He’s been reliable in the past for the most part and he’s got to rely on his judgment in situations like that and throughout the rest of the game. He’s just got to do that stuff better. He’s got to trust in himself more.”

Which means Erickson is keeping his job. He has to. Cheap Darius Phillips Jersey is on injured reserve and Cheap Tyler Boyd Jersey is their leading receiver and isn’t going back there.

MORE KICKS: The Bengals came in 10th, according to the special teams rankings of Football Outsider, and the Steelers were 11th and the Bengals were uncharacteristically outplayed. They came in ranked third covering punts, but gave up a 42-yarder to Cheap Ray-Ray McCloud Jersey. The only new player on the unit was wide receiver Stanley Morgan, Jr., at gunner since cornerback Cheap Tony Brown Jersey started.

“We had the guy boxed in over there. We had one guy that got out-leveraged. Stanley was right there at the point of attack to try to make the play and fell down,” Simmons said. “And we had three other guys right there that should have boxed the play in. One guy jumps to the wrong leverage. It’s a standard thing for us that you always keep the ball inside and in front of you. You never let the ball get outside you. That’s just basic, basic leverage rules.”

But they also didn’t get a break. When it was still 22-7 in the third quarter, it looked like the other gunner, Cheap Brandon Wilson Jersey stripped McCloud at around the Steelers 30 when rookie linebacker Cheap Logan Wilson Jersey stood him up and Wilson recovered it. Simmons was not happy that the refs ruled McCloud’s forward progress had been stopped.

“I do not view it the same way. I think under most circumstances the officials usually error on the side of a late whistle,” Simmons said. “There are plays there I’ve heard no whistle before. That is the explanation we were given. They felt forward progress was stopped and the official blew the whistle. That’s what they called. There’s not really a whole lot of arguing that can be done about it. I can disagree with it. People can agree or disagree, I guess, but that is the explanation I was given the official blew the whistle to stop the play. I guess that’s what we got to go with. Disappointing, though, I can tell you that. We had the ball out and it was a clear recovery by Brandon Wilson.”
